Curriculums Available at Sunshine Day Care Center

At Sunshine Day Care Center, we offer two forms of the educational curriculum.

For Our Pre-K Children

The Frog Street Pre-K curriculum is an extensive, dual-language program created to support ten learning domains and cater to the needs of a variety of learners. While kids are on the path to success, this fun, interactive program celebrates the joy of learning. In 1989, five kindergarten teachers founded Frog Street, which now provides early education programs across the United States and some other nations.

For Our Older Students

The educational activities and resources provided by Big Day for PreK help children develop socially and emotionally, academically and physically. There are eight thematic units in the program. Big Day for PreK offers an entire- or half-day curriculum, a sizable library of traditional and modern children's books, nonfiction texts, intensive language, early literacy development, technology that links kids, teachers, and families, and 100% equity in both English and Spanish.
